ADVANCED TECHNICAL SUPPORT — TIER 2
MAZET provides dedicated tier 2 technical support for IT and Telecom environments. We handle escalated incidents, deep-dive diagnostics, and service continuity — operating as the technical bridge between your frontline teams and core engineering.
MAZET is a Franco-Mexican technical support firm specialising in Tier 2 operations for IT and Telecom service providers. We act as the advanced diagnostic and resolution layer between frontline support and core engineering — ensuring that complex incidents are handled with the depth, speed, and transparency they demand.
To deliver structured, traceable, and efficient Level 2 support that reduces resolution time, limits escalation to engineering, and maintains measurable service continuity for our clients and their end users.
Defined response times per severity level. Systematic root cause analysis. Clear and regular status updates throughout every incident lifecycle. No unresolved issue left without a next action and an owner.
Every incident is acknowledged, qualified, and assigned a severity. Investigation relies on log analysis, protocol traces, and backend diagnostics. Resolution or workaround is communicated before closure, with a post-incident summary on critical cases.
We operate from Mexico, supporting IT infrastructure, telecom platforms, and hybrid environments. Our teams handle both business-hours and extended coverage depending on the contracted service tier.
"Resolving an incident is not enough — understanding why it happened and preventing the next one is what defines reliable technical support."
MAZET handles escalated incidents and service requests that require advanced investigation. Our scope covers IT infrastructure, telecom platforms, and the operational workflows that connect them — from first diagnosis to resolution or engineering escalation.
In-depth troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for escalated technical incidents. We examine logs, traces, and system behaviour to identify the origin of service degradation and drive resolution.
End-to-end tracking of service activation, lifecycle transitions, and batch operations. We investigate provisioning failures, synchronisation errors, and status discrepancies across platforms.
Deep analysis of traffic flows, session logs, and protocol traces across telecom and IP networks. We handle connectivity anomalies, routing issues, and cross-operator service failures.
Proactive supervision of platform health indicators and business-critical transaction flows. We detect anomalies early, qualify alarms, and act before service impact reaches end users.
Processing of standard service requests including line reactivations, configuration adjustments, and administrative changes — handled within defined SLA timelines.
Structured handoff to Tier 3 engineering or third-party vendors when issues exceed defined scope. We prepare full diagnostic packages and maintain follow-up until the issue is fully resolved.
For critical environments, MAZET offers extended operating hours with proactive platform monitoring. Incidents are detected, qualified, and actioned before they become visible to end users.
Every request follows a structured lifecycle — from initial acknowledgement and severity qualification, through investigation and resolution, to post-incident review. Transparency and traceability are built into each step.
Every ticket is acknowledged within the contracted response time. We validate the severity level, confirm the scope of impact, and assign the appropriate resource for investigation.
We analyse available logs, traces, and backend data to identify the root cause. The customer receives a status update within the first investigation window, regardless of resolution status.
Where SL2 can resolve the issue, a fix or validated workaround is applied and communicated. Where the root cause lies in core infrastructure or vendor systems, a full diagnostic package is escalated to Level 3 with maintained follow-up.
On critical incidents (P1/P2), a post-incident summary is provided covering timeline, root cause, resolution, and recommended preventive actions. All tickets are formally closed with documented resolution notes.
To ensure fast and accurate handling, please include the service identifier (account ID, line reference, or IP address), the exact timestamp of the incident, and a description of the observed versus expected behaviour. The more context provided, the faster our diagnostic.
